Okay, so I feel a bit bad being flippant at the moment because of everything that's just happened here (in London). I think I should probably break off from my whole trivial rant and just add my identikit views to everyone elses: it was evil, it shouldn't have happened, it's not too chaotic here at the moment. Actually everything is normal, and that's good.
