Flippancy returns! Okay, I'm feeling quite lonely as one of very few self confessed pseudo bohemian losers, so I've decided to create a subculture. My idea is we slowly balloon until we reach more than a few hundred and then accept that we are now mainstream and disband. Fun, huh? A subculture needs the following:
* an anthem (or anthems)
* icons
* literature, cultural references
* possibly a mode of dress
Here are my suggestions:

Anthem: thankfully this has already been written, and its the obvious choice. Yes "Bohemian Like You" by the Dandy Warhols, which is only improved by the fact that the band has utterly sold out and the song's used for adverts. Otherwise the Offspring's "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" is good as well.

Icons: * Ben Folds, king of Geek Chic
* Thora Birch as Enid in Ghost World, not a pseudo bohemian loser herself but used the term for the first time, and should be an icon anyway
* Jean Hughes Anglade in Subway. Actually, Jean Hughes Anglade in many films from the late 80's and early 90's.

Cultural references were pretty much dealt with in my first post, I'd like to add "Rules Of Attraction" by Brett Easton Ellis because pseudo bohemian losers feature(I think). Also "David Boring" by Daniel Clowes (he who wrote Ghost World)

And modes of dress are pretty much useless, it is already easy enough to spot a pseudo bohemian loser.

That's about it for now, as ever comments are welcome.

I think it applies to a sub-sub culture really, plus "Bohemian Like You" fits pretty well.
