Does anyone know what one wears to an Embassy reception? I haven't been to one since I was twelve, therefore I suspect dress code has changed slightly. Am getting steadily more panicked. (Also, what does one say to an ambassador? Other than "With these ferrero rocher...&cetera".
On a different, albeit clothes related note, Andre Bitos (protagonist of "Pauvre Bitos") is an icon. Like a small, nervous version of Robespierre and Malvolio rolled into one.

Lovely, self important provincial lawyer who "thinks he is Robespierre". I am on the verge of being in love with him, especially him-as-Robespierre which he is in Act II.
